  • Choose a high fiber intake, about 25 to 35g per day.
  • Eat smaller meals and several snacks throughout the day.
  • Eat and drink slowly.
  • Chew well.
  • Drink without food, half an hour before or after meals.
  • Avoid soft drinks.
  • Avoid chewing gum.
