A few weeks ago, Greenpeace Canada has released its annual report on the state of Supermarket Seafood Sustainability. Greenpeace scored Canada’s eight major retailers against a set of criteria based on the strength, comprehensiveness and implementation of their seafood policies, the information they make available to their customers, and the number of harmfully-fished Redlist species.

The World Population is 15 Millons tonnes overweight
A new report published a week ago on the BMC Public Health, using data from the World Health Organization (WHO), in 2005 the global adult population collectively weighted 287 million tonnes, of which 15 million tonnes were due to overweight (BMI > 25) et 3.5 million tonnes to obesity.
Italy honoured with world’s largest lasagne at Euro 2012
The Guinness World Record of the biggest lasagne has been broken last week in Poland. An Italian restaurant in Krakow has created a gigantic meat feast to celebrate the Italian soccer team, headquartered nearby during the Euro Soccer Championship.
