In fact, all the body’s cells feed off sugar, whether they are cancerous or not. What’s more, sugars (carbohydrates) include whole grain cereal products, fruits and vegetables, basically plenty of good foods for health! The important thing isn’t necessarily to cut out all carbohydrates (sugars), but rather to consume foods that contain added sugar (sugary drinks, fizzy drinks, pastries and cakes, etc.) in moderation.
By avoiding foods with added sugar, you avoid empty calories and therefore avoid weight-gain. Excess weight creates a favorable environment for the development of several cancers. This is a good reason to watch your diet.
