Here is a well-known traditional Canadian dish that consists of stuffing green cabbage leaves with ground beef and rice. In addition to the classic recipe, we have different versions, such as replacing beef with chicken, or using veggie ground in a vegan version.
After a short steaming, kale leaves may be used to prepare a very unusual pesto, to be served on pasta or to accompany grilled meats.
When we think of a gratin dish, cabbage is not always the first to come to mind. However cabbage goes perfectly well with cream, Gruyère cheese, butter and shallots in this super-tasty recipe.
