Apple and celeriac salad with mayonnaise dressing.
Created at New York's Waldorf-Astoria Hotel in the 1890s, the salad was an instant success. As often happens, many variations evolved—some with raisins, some with chopped nuts. This lighter version contains yogurt.

Tasted good, but too time intensive for a weekday meal. And celeriac is expensive where I live!
Loved the taste of apples and walnuts with lettuce. Didn't think the dressing was that great, though.
Nice salad, but I would rather put the apples in it instead of on the side
