Raclette is an amazing cheese that’s usually served by melting sheets of it onto bread. Traditionally, the server heats the surface and then scrapes the melty goodness over various fondue veggies and breads. But, if you’re going for something a little less flashy, this crostini is a great alternative! And how can you go wrong with ham and cheese? And if you like the idea of melting cheese, check out our tips for a great fondue night!
This somewhat exotic recipe features watermelon radish, which is absolutely beautiful when sliced thin. However, don’t think this is just about visual appeal. Even though we eat with our eyes first, this crostini is every bit as delicious as it looks. Herbed goat cheese alone is really enough to win anybody over, but the radish cuts through the richness wonderfully. Yummy!
And at the top of our list is a classic. Bruschetta actually refers to the garlic toast, but many people tend to associate bruschetta with tomatoes. It’s the perfect snack at just about any meal and always tastes fresh and delicious. Plus, you get a nice hit of lycopene from the tomatoes, and at only 150 calories per serving. Quick, easy, delicious, and healthy? Definitely a winner!
