This smoothie provides an ideal amount of carbohydrates and protein to help you recover well after exercise. In addition, the berries are rich in antioxidants, helping to reduce inflammation and promote recovery.
In addition to providing the carbohydrates and protein needed for post-workout recovery, this smoothie also contains kefir, a fermented food that helps strengthen the immune system. High intensity training can weaken the immune system and increase susceptibility to infections. The consumption of fermented foods, on the other hand, provides good bacteria to our body and can help counteract this effect.
